Our socially-responsible gambling policy

While the majority of gamblers are able to gamble in a controlled, socially responsible manner, there are a small minority of people whose gambling is not in control and is therefore a problem. We believe that it is our responsibility, for both moral and business reasons, to ensure that we help all our customers to gamble in a responsible manner.

To that end, we can confirm these processes / policies are in place:

1. We provide customers with the capacity to self-exclude themselves from our site.
2. We train all our Customer Facing staff so that they understand our Self-Exclusion policy, and so that they can advise customers who request information. There is Training Manual which must be read, understood and signed.
3. We take a number of measures designed to ensure that the site is used only by people over the age of 18. These include, but are not limited to:
   • Explicitly stating on our sign up page that it is illegal for anyone under 18 to join Smart Live Casino.
   • Making the site ICRA compliant and including an ICRA link on the homepage so that responsible adults can block people under 18 from accessing our site.
   • We ensure that our customer service staff are trained in URU which will allow them to check primary data (IE the electoral roll) and also secondary documents (IE passports) accurately thus ensuring that our customers legitimately prove they are over 18.
4. We have a link to Gamcare on every page our site, and we also have a Responsible Gambling section so that anyone wanting to find out more information about controlling their gambling has that information readily available.
5. We will make a commitment to make an annual donation to a nominated charity related to the study, identification, and treatment of problem gambling.
6. In addition to these policies, we will always be open to any other procedures that can be implemented in order to improve this aspect of our service.
